Hey there, fellow explorers.
Our recent stint at Racecourse Campground near Crescent Head was nothing short of epic. The tides, the swell, the wind - it was like they all got together and decided to put on a show just for us. Talk about a surfer's paradise!
Our days ollowed a familiar rhythm: wake up, brew a hot coffee, paddle out, catch some waves, come in for a bite, then head back out for more. Rinse and repeat for five glorious nights.

The days took on their own rhythm. |
But it wasn't just the epic surf conditions that made this trip so special. The real magic came from our wonderful neighbours. There's something about the camping community that just brings people together, and we were lucky enough to experience that firsthand.
Alas, all good things must come to an end, and it was time to pack up and hit the road once more. Our next destination? Boorkoom, where we were revisiting a camp we had to evacuate back in January due to a fire.
After the abrupt evacuation earlier this year, we were a bit apprehensive about returning. But the pull of that stunning coastal scenery was just too strong to resist.

Clear evenings. |
The nights were particularly magical, with the lack of light pollution allowing the stars to shine in all their glory. We spent countless time gazing upwards, utterly mesmerized by the celestial display.
