Trip #10
On a Friday at 3:00 pm, work was left behind and the journey began. Four hours down south, we arrived at Smoky Cape in the last light of the day. Amidst a swarm of mosquitoes, we set up our pod, sipped a glass of red, and dozed off.

The following morning, the sound of an inquisitive kangaroo intruded upon our sleep, poking its head through the door. We set out for a walk, only to be met with an unexpected downpour. Three hours of relentless rain later, I discovered that my phone was drenched, proving to be an expensive lesson. Next time, my dry bag will be close at hand, nestled within my day pack.

However, the trip was not without its positives. We managed to survive three days on battery power alone, with no sun in sight. Additionally, we enjoyed two episodes of Daisy Jones and the Six, adding to the memorable experiences of our now 30 night total in the pod..
