Red Rock …Trip #04

Here are the main points of Trip 04

• Arrive at Red Rock after work. 2.5 hour drive.
• Heavy rain that night resulted in a snapped annexe pole at 1:30 am. This resulted in a naked wet person banging around in the dark trying to salvage what could be salvaged until daylight, then getting back into the wottie cold and shivering until first light.
• Daylight. A trip into Coffs Harbour Kings Camping and 4WD centre resulted in replacement pole and a spare at no cost. Thank you Kings. Also couldnt resist a trip to Dark Arts Cafe.
• Rest of the day reached a max temp of 18 and it stayed wet and miserable, hence the grey photos from Saturday.
• We visited the Yarawarra cultural centre and Gallery.
• Sunday fine and warm. Walked and swam and lazed before packing up and driving home.
• It was nice to leave at 15:00 after a relaxing day, instead of get up pack up and drive off site by 10:00.
