Moonee Beach.

Our first multi day trip. Finished Kingscliff Triathlon, and then drove home to pack food and clothing for an 8 day trip. Then head south for about 2 hours. Beautiful uncrowded campsite under gumtrees. King tides, fresh summery air. All on Gumbaynggirr country. 

First morning at Moonee. The bonus here was that there is a popup coffee cart behind me. Sunrise espresso, a perfect way to start the trip.

Long exposure, it was almost dark, but the trees picked up the last of the light. Note the swing on the right hand side. Many happy memories formed here no doubt.

The river is quiet and still as the birds fly home for the evening. The view from our campsite.
