Camping Stores We Use

Over the years we've bought gear from many camping and outdoor retailers. These are the stores we regularly check when looking for camping, hiking, 12V and teardrop camping gear.

Prices change constantly, so we usually compare prices, watch for sales and buy quality gear when it offers good value. One advantage of these retailers is that most are national chains, so you'll often find a store nearby whether you're in a capital city or a larger regional town.

🏕 Tentworld

Quality gear, helpful service and usually our first port of call when researching camping equipment.

❄️ Snowys

A huge range of camping and outdoor gear. Worth keeping an eye on sales and clearance items.

🥾 Wild Earth

Excellent for hiking, trekking and lightweight outdoor equipment. A good source for quality walking gear and apparel.

🎣 BCF

A massive range of camping, boating and fishing gear. We usually sift through the options, wait for sales and take advantage of their price-match policy.

🚗 Supercheap Auto

Our go-to store for oils, cleaners, wiper blades, batteries and general vehicle maintenance items.

⛺ Anaconda

Large range of tents, footwear, clothing and camping gear. Like many retailers, the best value is usually found during sales.

🔧 Kings

Not always premium quality, but often remarkably affordable. We own several Kings products and generally buy during major sales.

🔋 Road Tech Marine

Particularly useful for solar panels, batteries, chargers, 12V systems and electrical accessories for campers and caravans.
